Director of Service Delivery

Hours 37.5 hours per week to include Bank Holidays and Weekends on a rota 
Salary £30,000 - £34,000 pa depending on experience

Brief As part of the organisation's strategic plan we are introducing the new role of Director of Service Delivery. This post will report directly to and work closely with the CEO to strategically manage the service delivery provision across the organisation.

You will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and take an active role in planning, achieving and monitoring service delivery within a quality assurance framework. You will contribute to the development of the organisation and support the high standards of day to day service delivery and organisational effectiveness. You will have a proven track record in developing operating policies to ensure service delivery programmes and activities meet the requirements of the organisation and the transitional objectives of the service users.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, proactive, Manager who is interested in playing a pivotal role in the development of a forward thinking charity.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years senior management experience in housing and mental health as it relates to the social care agenda, and be educated to graduate level or equivalent.

Service Delivery Manager

As part of the organisation’s strategic plan we are introducing the new role of Service Delivery Manager. This post will work directly with the Service Delivery Director to manage sustainable and quality assured services in line with the strategic direction of the charity.

You will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and take an active role in implementing operational policies to ensure support programmes meet the transitional requirements of services users and Commissioners. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in role modelling excellent line management, cross functional team work and change management.

This is an interesting opportunity for a proactive Manager with a person centred approach that can motivate a team to achieve their full potential whilst having the ability to reflect in order to continually improve.

Applicants should have a significant management experience in housing and mental health in the voluntary and community sector and educated to NVQ Level 3 or above.

As part of the organisation’s strategic plan we are introducing the new role of Therapeutic Practitioner. This post will work directly with the Service Delivery Manager to deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Aspergers, Autism and complex mental health needs.
 
You will have a person centred approach with a passion for enabling vulnerable individuals to reach their full potential in liaison with the appropriate external agencies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in role modelling consistent and engaging support sessions in order to meet the transitional outcomes for individual service users, in line with quality assurance frameworks.
 
This is a unique opportunity for a proactive practitioner to add real value to the lives of services users whilst having the ability to reflect in order to continually improve and ensure service users are able to take an active role in the community.
 
Applicants should have a broad understanding and experience of working with complex mental health issues and ideally hold a counselling qualification.

OPENhouse has several new positions based in Gloucester focusing on supporting young people living in supported accommodation. If you have the skill and personal attributes to sensitively and professionally support service users in a person centred way with housing, licence agreements and ultimately preparing them for independent living we would love to hear from you. This is a varied and rare opportunity to be part of a team that develops vulnerable individuals often with complex needs and behaviours to become contributing members of society. Empathy and understanding of the issues young disadvantaged people face is essential.

Brief

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills working with 16 and 17 year olds, to provide sensitive, professional, and purposeful activity enabling individuals to maintain their licences whilst living as independently as possible. You will be required to work as part of a small team and be comfortable lone working with the ability to use your own initiative to problem solve. Good communication skills both verbal and written are essential, together with a desire to offer person centred support. Experience of working with service users with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours would be desirable.
